This was a struggle.  I woke up with a headache that lingered throughout this routine.  10 days till I reach the finish line.  At this point it may be on my be on my hands and knees, but I'm going to get there.

Round 2 P90X/Insanity Hybrid: Day 79 - Chest & Back and ARX....Quest For 300 Push-Ups

Today is my 1st P90X work-out in almost two weeks due to my sprained wrist and I couldn't be happier.  It was a struggle but I was able to knock out 310 push-ups!!!!

I didn't think that I would be able to work-out until Sept 4th but I guess I'm a quick healer.

Round 2 P90X/Insanity Hybrid: Day76 - Max Cardio Conditioning

I really felt the burn this morning.  This was the last work-out of recovery week, but since my wrist isn't 100% yet, I'm going to suspend this round and this blog until Sept 4.  I will do various Cardio and Ab routines next week but I'm not going to blog about them.  With only two weeks left in the round I want to be able to finish strong.

Its been a while since I've done P90X Plyometrics.  I forgot how much this works your hamstrings, glutes and quads.  When things get back to normal I may have to find a spot for this routine.

I had to modify this work-out this morning.  I couldn't do the push-ups so I did extra power jumps, high knees and globe twists.  My wrist isn't as painful as it was yesterday but it isn't 100% yet either.

Due to a sprained wrist, I wasn't able to attempt or complete my quest for 350 push-ups.  I went for a two mile walk instead.  I'm going to do a week of Cardio until my wrist gets better.

Round 2 P90X/Insanity Hybrid: Day 70 - Kenpo X and X Stretch

To make up for my "cheat" night(15 hot wings and a side order of curly fries) I threw some Kenpo X into the mix.  After I burned a few calories, I took a five minute break, drank some Results and Recovery drink and did a session of X-Stretch.  The quest for 350 push-ups starts in 17 1/2 hours.

Round 2 P90X/Insanity Hybrid: Day 69 - Max Cardio Conditioning and Cardio Abs

Thank goodness tomorrow(X-Stretch) is a break day.  I was on fumes with about 20mins left in this routine.  The push-up jacks almost made me tap out.  But I was able to dig deep and get it done!  Cardio Abs was a beast as usual.

Round 2 P90X/Insanity Hybrid: Day 67 - Pure Cardio and Insane Abs

Initially I didn't bring the intensity that is needed for Pure Cardio, so I stopped the DVD and started over.  After I got myself focused I was able to dig deep and ended up having a great work-out!!!  As usual, Insane Abs was tough, but I'm stating to see significant improvements.

Round 2 P90X/Insanity Hybrid: Day 65 - Max Interval Plyo & Cardio Abs

I'm happy to say that I was able to make it through the entire DVD without having to press pause.  The level III drills were especially tough after yesterday's chest work-out.  The 16 push-ups at a pop was felt in my chest and triceps.  Great work-out!!!  Cardio Abs was tough!!!

Round 2 P90X/Insanity Hybrid: Day 63-64 - X-Stretch and Chest & SHoulders & Triceps and Insane Abs

Day 63: This was an X-Stretch day which as always was relaxing but there isn't any need to go into detail and write about it.

Day 64: Chest & Shoulders and Insane Abs....this work-out was a beast!!!! I've noticed significant improvements in regards to my strength.  After a 15minute break and a serving of Results and Recovery Formula, I completed Insane Abs without pausing!! Great work-out!!!

Round 2 P90X/Insanity Hybrid: Day 62 - Max Cardio Conditioning and Cardio Abs

I love this DVD!!!!  I could do this routine 3 or 4 times a week and be extremely happy.  My stamina, speed and coordination has improved to the point that I no longer need to press pause.  I can just go straight through.  Same with Cardio Abs and I'm seeing the results as my waist is slimming down.

Round 2 P90X/Insanity Hybrid: Day 60 - Fast & Furious and Cardio Abs.....Embrace the Sweat

Initially I considered this to be a "break" day.  That thought was quickly erased 2mins into Fast & Furious.  I don't know how, but I forgot how crazy and intense that 21mins was.  Needless to say I was dripping with sweat as usual.  Cardio Abs wasn't any better.  By the time I got to a frame abs my obliques were on fire!!!!!  This was a perfect "break" day.......Short & Sweet!!!

Round 2 P90X/Insanity Hybrid: Day 58 - Max Interval Plyo and Insane Abs

I chose to do Max Interval Plyo because I felt I needed to do something for my legs.  But I have to pull back on the days that I do Insane Abs. The total of 90mins of Cardio may be a bit too much.  I was able to get everything in but I didn't like the fact that I had to pause the DVD 3 times.

With only 32 days to go I have to pick up the pace!!!

Round 2 P90X/Insanity Hybrid: Day 57 - Chest & Back and ARX

I set my sights on 300 push-ups this morning, and I was able to do 340.  I will say that I had to pause the DVD a few times to get in extra push-ups.  But I was pleased to see improvement from the last time I did this back routine on day 14.  Next time I"m shooting for 350.  After a 15min break and some Results and Recovery formula, I was able to get in ARX.  I put up some solid numbers.

Round 2 P90X/Insanity Hybrid: Day Day 56 - X-Stretch

Today is the last day of my Recovery Week Phase.  As usual X-Stretch was what the doctor ordered.  Not only did I get a good sweat but it was very relaxing and it got a kink out of my back.  I have a 30 minute jog and an hour bike ride scheduled for 1 o'clock today.  I'm already looking forward to tomorrow's quest for 300 push-ups.

Today's session was a good way to wind down Recovery Week.  I'm ready to move on to Phase III after tomorrow's X-Stretch.  I'm putting it out there early, the goal for Sunday is 300 push-ups.  There's exactly 5 weeks left in this round.  It's all out and pedal to the metal.

Round 2 P90X/Insanity Hybrid: Day Day 54 - Kenpo X and ARX

This mornings work-out was very therapeutic.  Kenpo X isn't as intense as Insanity but it is still a great calorie burner.  I always consider this routine one of the best when you want to do some cardio, but you don't want to get to crazy.  ARX was nice because I didn't count reps, I just went with as many reps as I could do.

Round 2 P90X/Insanity Hybrid: Day 53 - Max Interval Circuit and Cardio Abs

I struggled with this routine the last two times that I did it so I had to shut my mind off and let my body do the work.  I made it thru pretty well until I got to the moving push-ups.  That's when I felt yesterday's upper body work-out.  I embraced the pain!!! Ditto with Cardio Abs after yesterday's Insane Abs!!!!

Round 2 P90X/Insanity Hybrid: Day 52 - Insanity's Upper Body Work-Out and Insane Abs

I previewed both DVDs last night, so I knew that this was going to be intense!!  I went with 25 and 30 pound dumbbells for the upper body work-out.....And I still felt it.  I have to have this in rotation at least once a week because I can see my upper body blowing up with this in conjunction with P90X.  Insane Abs is exactly that.  I had to pause the DVD twice to keep up.
