Round 2 P90X/Insanity Hybrid: Day 49 - Kenpo X
I knew that I said I wasn't going to do any P90X or Insanity this weekend but I got off track but still wanted to burn some calories....So I turned to KenpoX. As usual I was a sweaty mess by the cool down time. I'm very pleased with myself for doing something on a day that I could have easily done nothing.

Round 2 P90X/Insanity Hybrid: Day 48 - X-Stretch
I pulled in the reins somewhat this morning by going with X-Stretch. After the sluggish starts the last two mornings this was a great remedy. I'm going to take the next two days off from Insanity and P90X. I will do some bike riding and a combination of walking/jogging over the weekend.
On Monday I will begin my recovery week. There is exactly 6 weeks left in this round.

I really had to dig deep this morning for the 2nd day in a row. My work-out started out slow but picked up steam as it progressed. With all the cardio from Insanity my legs are fried, so I've decided to not use any weights for legs from here on out. I barely made it through ARX and left Fast & Furious for another day. Recovery week is coming right on time.

Round 2 P90X/Insnaity Hybrid - Day 46: Max Interval Circuit and Cardio Abs
This mornings session started off pretty bad. I guess I didn't bring my "A" game. I got frustrated after 10 minutes and stopped the DVD. After 5 minutes of cursing myself out I started over. It went much better the 2nd time without question. I still feel that this is the hardest routine that I've done by far but I took less breaks and finished pretty well. I'm in a nice groove with Cardio Abs and the
"6-pack" is starting to peek out slowly but surely.

I was feeling a little sluggish this mrorning so I only used 20 and 25 pound weights. I got a nice burn by doing 12-15 reps instead of 8-10. As usual, the guns are pumped.

Round 2 P90X/Insanity Hybrid: Day 44 - Max Interval Cardio and Cardio Abs
Today's Max Plyo session was tough. The amount of push-ups that I had to do after yesterday's Chest, Shoulders and Triceps was almost criminal...lol!! And don't get me started on the amount of sweat that I swallowed. Overall I had an excellent work-out. Cardio Abs is actually getting easier.....But in another week or so I plan on ordering Insane Abs to get my 6 pack.

Round 2 P90X/Insanity Hybrid: Day 41 - Max Interval Circuit & Cardio Abs
I had to really dig deep this morning. I tweeted about how hard Insanity's Max Interval Circuit is......And I will say it again, this was the hardest thing that I've done since my first week in basic training 23 years ago. I don't think there is anything easy about this one, but it was very gratifying to finish. I took a ten minute break before Cardio Abs and I had some Results & Recovery drink. Another great work-out in the books.

I knew that I had close to a 2hr work-out this morning, so I dropped the weight and went with more reps. Not surprising that I felt more of a burn without weights.
Insanity's Fast and Furious was a true grind after P90X Legs & Back. I had to dig deep but I'm proud to say that I came through with flying colors.
After a 5min break I was able to put up some pretty nice numbers for ARX. By the time I got tot he Mason Twist I was starving!!!!! Close to 1800 calories burned.

Round 2 P90X/Insanity Hybrid: Day 39 - Max Cardio Conditioning
I was going to take a "break" today by doing a session of Kenpo X but I felt a surge of energy when I woke up so decided to "Dig Deep" and went with Max Cardio Conditioning. Technically I did take a break since I didn't do any Ab work but I burned approximately 1100 calories. Another great work-out!!!!

Surprisingly I had some energy after the grinding morning work-out but I didn't want to go too crazy so I choose to do X-Stretch. Of course it wasn't the calorie burner that I could have chosen but it was just what the Dr. ordered. The neck stretches and the glute stretch in particular were very relaxing.

Round 2 P90X/Insanity Hybrid: Day 37 - Max Interval Cardio and Cardio Abs
I decided to up the ante by moving on to month 2 of Insanity. I'm glad that I was able to "Dig a little Deeper" than before because I think that I had one of my best sessions ever. I'm sure that my legs will feel this tomorrow. After a five minute break to catch my breath, I did a round of Cardio Abs. I love the way that the sweat dripped into my eyes and mouth. Insanity has a way of bringing out your inner beast!!! I love it!!!

Round 2 P90X/Insanity Hybrid: Day 34 - Cardio Power & Resistance and Cardio Abs
I should have given a little more thought into attempting Power & Resistance the day after P90X Legs and Back. After the initial pain(a good pain) from Power Jacks, I made it thru pretty well. One more session in month 1 of Insanity tomorrow, then I'm moving on to month two. Time to burn some serious fat.

Initially I was a bit intimidated by the thought of 45mins of straight Cardio but when I saw some of the people that work-out with Shaun T tap out during the warm-up, my fears were put to rest. I think this is something that I can do 2x's a week. This will get me where I want my body to be and I have 58 days in this round to get there.

I had to dig deep and BRING IT this morning. I woke up at 2am and couldn't go back to sleep. As usual Shaun T had me standing in a pool of sweat as I dripped from head to toe. This Recovery Week has been extremely tough. But all of my clothes are a lot looser on my body.

Round 2 P90X/Insanity Hybrid: Day Day 25 - Plyometric Cardio Circuit and Cardio Abs
Shaun T kicked ass my this morning!!!!! I'm not going to lie, I had to take two breaks during the routine. That isn't bad but it shows me that I'm not ready to move on to month two of Insanity just yet. I should be ready in another week or two. I threw in a session of Cardio Abs just to get in another 16mins of Cardio. My abs are going to thank me!!!!

Today I really had to motivate myself to get up and push play. I guess after getting off track with my nutrition I felt like I was bloated. Kenpo X was just what I needed. I have great controlled movements, which helped me get my juices flowing. Another great work-out!!!!

Second Round P90X/Insanity Hybrid - Day 22: Core Cardio & Balance and Cardio Abs
Due to the birth of my son James Michael, I used days 19, 20 and 21 as rest days. As for as day 22 goes, I don't know if it was taking the three days off or if it's just that Core Cardio & Balance was tough. But I did have a great work-out. I was gasping fo air at the end. I would have to say that the first day of Recovery Week was a success.
